Anna Sui is a famous American fashion designer, of Chinese origin, who first showed interest in design when she was a little girl. She attended Parsons The New School for Design in New York and since then has been one of the most influential designers. She started her official career in 1991 with her first runway show and in 1992 opened her first flagship boutique in Soho. The popularity of Anna Sui's brand has spread rapidly across the globe. She received many awards including Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Perry Ellis Award, Classic Icon of Fashion and Design Award and CFDA's Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award. As of 2014, Anna Sui has 375 sales outlets in 35 countries that offer her lines of clothing, accessories, cosmetics and perfumes. In 1999, Anna Sui launched her first perfume, named after her, in collaboration with Wella AG of Germany. One of Anna Sui's most famous collection of perfumes is the Dolly Girl series, which was launched in 2003. This line was later expanded to included a clothing collection marketed to young buyers. As of 2014, Anna Sui has launched 24 perfumes, with the most recent one, Sui Dreams in Pink, released in 2014. Anna Sui's perfume line is famous for its creative packaging and a very particular bottle design that also reflect her clothing line. She has worked with famous perfumers such as Benoist Lapouza, Philippe Romano, Michel Almairac, Claudette Belnavis and Jean-Louis Grauby.
