Invictus Cologne by Paco Rabanne, Invictus is a woody aquatic fragrance for men that was launched in July 2013. Its name is Latin for “invincible.” This eau de toilette was created by Veronique Nyberg, Anne Flipo, Olivier Polge, and Dominique Ropion. It opens with the aroma of fresh grapefruit and a marine accord. Its middle notes feature aromatic bay leaf and Hedione jasmine. Its woody base consists of guaiac wood, patchouli, oak moss, and ambergris . This fragrance has moderately heavy sillage and is long lasting. Paco Rabanne is a French fashion house that was founded by Spanish fashion designer Francisco “Paco” Rabaneda Cuervo. He launched his own brand in 1966, after working in jewelry design for other houses and then experimenting in clothing design. He became known for his eclectic clothing styles, creating pieces out of unique materials such as paper and metal. He released his first fragrance in 1969.
